The Minnesota Dairy Health Conference is a leading scientific conference designed to help dairy practitioners, industry personnel, animal scientists, dairy farmers/managers and nutritionists stay up-to-date on advancements in the field of dairy. This annual conference will be held May 18-20 at the University of Minnesota – St. Paul Campus.

The main conference will examine a variety of strategies to enhance the biology of lactation and overall health of the dairy cow, such as photoperiods, transition cow housing, and fatty acid nutrition. Also highlighted will be ongoing research and new findings from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine.

The topic of dairy animal welfare will be examined in this year’s pre-conference symposium, which will feature important presentations about objective measures of dairy cattle well-being as well as creating an engaging and open dialogue about the National Dairy Farm Program and American Humane Certified dairy welfare programs.

Registration is open and early registration rates end April 30. Go to www.MNDairyHealth.org for more information, program details and to register.
