The North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge (NAIDC) board of directors elected two new board members: David Prentice, DVM, Elanco Animal Health, Elgin, Iowa, and Christie Stanley, PhD, Land O'Lakes Purina Feed, Amarillo, Texas. In addition, the NAIDC board elected new officers to lead the group. Luciene Ribero, APC, Inc., Visalia, California, is incoming chair, while Michael Van Amburgh, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, was elected vice chair, and Owen Bewley, Prince Agri Products, Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, is finance chair. Returning executive committee members include Coleen Jones, Pennsylvania State University, Craigsville, Virginia, as program chair, and Tami Tollenaar, Tollenaar Holsteins Dairy, Elk Grove, California, as publicity chair. Other NAIDC board members include Devin Albrecht, Prairie State/Select Sires, Hampshire, Illinois; Jean Conklin, Yankee Farm Credit, ACA, White River Jct., Vermont; Chris Dei, Sierra Vista Nutrition Consulting, Fresno, California; Marcia Endres, University of Minnesota, St. Paul, Minnesota; Barry Putnam, Cargill Animal Health, Ithaca, New York; Jon Robinson, PhD, Fresno State University, Fresno, California; Amy te Plate Church, Genex, Shawano, Wisconsin; and Dave Winston, M.S., Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia. Retiring board members are Rob Sheffer, Cargill Animal Nutrition, Albany, New York, and Kas Ingawa, PhD, North Carolina State University/Dairy Records Management Systems, Raleigh, North Carolina. NAIDC manages and operates one national and four regional contests. The national contest will be held March 29-31 in Roanoke, Virginia. Regional contest dates and locations include: Northeast, Oct. 27-29, Watertown, New York; Southern, Nov. 17-19, Live Oak, Florida; Midwest, Feb. 1-3, location tba; and West, March 2-3, Visalia, California.
