Background
Q. In what area are you pursing a degree?
I'm studying animal science, with an emphasis in dairy production, and applied plant science.

Q. What is your agricultural background?
I grew up on a hobby farm where we finish holstein steers.

Internship information
Q. What will your responsibilities be this summer?
My responsibilities involving filling in and helping out the current full time breeders throughout central Minnesota.

Q. What do you hope to have learned by the end of your internship?
I hope to have learned better sales and customer relations skills by the end of my internship.

Q. What intrigues you most about Genex?
I am most intrigued in the leading edge research and products that Genex has produced in the A.I. industry, as well as what has made this company so successful.

Q. What do you think will be the most challenging aspect of your intern duties?
The most challenging part of my internship will be to prove to the producers throughout central Minnesota that although I am new they can still trust me to do a great job.

Future plans
Q. What do you plan to do after graduation?
I will graduate in May 2014 and I hope to remain involved in the dairy industry. As far as what aspect, I haven't quite decided that yet.  PD
