The University of California Cooperative Extension is holding the second in a series of seminars directed at dairy owners, managers, employees, and allied industry.  

The goal of the California Dairy Management Seminars is to provide science-based information and discussion on topics contributing to the continued success and profitability of dairy operations in California. The seminars will be presented separately in English and Spanish.

The second annual Latinos in Agriculture Leaders Forum recently convened at the El Tropicano Riverwalk hotel in San Antonio, Texas, October 17-19, 2012.

The Leaders Forum brought together representatives from industry, government, and education to continue the dialog about how to capitalize on the potential Hispanic/Latino talent has in the future of agriculture.

The 2012 Latinos in Agriculture Leaders Forum is quickly approaching. The event will take place at the El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel in San Antonio, Texas on October 17-19.

The forum will address the emerging Latino population and its potential impact on the future of agriculture and related industries.

Currently in its second year, the forum will also explore approaches to improve Latino representation in agriculture.
