With summer just around the corner, maybe you’re thinking about taking some time off to travel.

In late March, I had the opportunity to travel to Nevada to interview the dairy manager featured in this issue of El Lechero.

I made my way down to Amargosa Valley, which is approximately 90 miles northwest of Las Vegas.

Can you believe we are well into another year? It seems like just the other day I was thinking about how I needed to start making plans and setting goals for 2013.

What goals have you set this year? Chico da Silva is a great example of someone that has pursued his goals.

What type of struggles do you deal with on your dairy? Do you have personal challenges that also tie into your work? A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to interview Cesar Rodriguez, the manager of a dairy in Hanford, California.
