The Maryland/Delaware Ayrshire Association is gearing up to host the National Ayrshire Convention June 28–July 2 in Hagerstown, Maryland, at the Clarion Antietam. Several tours are planned to the Washington D.C. and Baltimore areas, to include the Inner Harbor and Antietam Battlefield.


The Convention Committee is planning lots of fun events for the week. Tuesday will feature optional tours and kickoff event, Wednesday will be devoted to the juniors, and Thursday will be the day for tours in Baltimore and of Maple Dell Farm as well as the awards banquet. Friday will feature the Grand National Sale. Saturday will allow for several farm tours including Hidden Valley Ayrshires at R-Lynn Farm and Vales-Pride Farm and then a BBQ at Palmyra Farm to wrap up the convention.
