The Southern Regional Dairy Challenge was held November 18-20 at Mississippi State University in Tupelo, Mississippi. MSU hosted 70 students from 15 universities.

Other participating schools included Alabama A&M University, Berry College, Clemson University, Eastern Kentucky University, Florida State College of Jacksonville, Louisiana State University, Middle Tenneessee State University, North Carolina State University, Santa Fe College, Southern Illinois University, University of Florida, University of Kentucky, Virginia Tech and West Virginia University.

The next North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge (NAIDC) event is the Midwest Regional, to be held February 9-11, 2011, in Menomonie, Wisconsin. It will be followed by the West Regional Dairy Challenge, to be held March 3-5, 2011, in Fresno, California. The National Dairy Challenge will take place March 31 - April 2, 2011, in Hickory, North Carolina.
