Idaho Milk Products, located in Jerome, Idaho, and owned by three Idaho dairy families, is the country's largest domestic producer of milk protein concentrates.

The dairymen-owned milk fractioning plant took 17 months to build and began production in Feb. 2009. Its largest competitor is Fonterra of New Zealand.
