Industry Honor Roll: National Mastitis Council has named the 2014 National Dairy Quality Platinum Award winners

  • National Mastitis Council has named the 2014 National Dairy Quality Platinum Award winners. These producers represent the best in quality milk production. The recipients are Randy and Kathy Bauer of Faribault, Minnesota; Jeremy Beebe of Whittemore, Michigan; Michael Kleinhans of Kiel, Wisconsin; Duane and Janet Molhoek of Falmouth, Michigan; Brent, Nancy, Tyler and Ben Wilson of Carson City, Michigan; Mike, Lorene, Andrew and Bobbi Zagata of Sebwaing, Michigan; and Florieda Gorham and Mike, Jean, Brent, Brock and Nelda Bailey of Tomah, Wisconsin.
  • The Holstein Foundation has named Chandler Goule, National Farmers Union senior vice president of programs, the 2015 Young Dairy Leaders Institute Distinguished Alumni Leader.
  • Representative Keith Gillespie (R-York County) was named the winner at the Center for Dairy Excellence and PennAg Industries 6th VIP Legislative Dairy showmanship contest in January during the 99th Pennsylvania Farm Show. PD
