Evolution X2 liner
Following the introduction of the Evolution X in 2012, Conewango (Booth 6736) is launching Evolution X2, designed for faster milk-out.

Using new technology and a square-barrel design, the company says that the X2 can bring additional speed and efficiency to dairy operations. Other benefits of the square barrel include greater teat-end health and prevention of hyperkeratosis.

Full-Size and Mini Fodder-Pro 2.0 Feed Systems
FarmTek (Booth 4605) has added three new systems to its line of Fodder-Pro 2.0 Feed Systems. Now, in addition to the Full-Size and Mini systems, there is a Full-Size Expanded System, Full-Size Compact System and Expanded Mini System.

The hydroponic systems are designed to rapidly produce high-quality fodder at a low cost and with minimal labor.

The largest system, the Full-Size Expanded, has seven tiers of six channels to provide 504 linear feet of growing space and up to 375 pounds of fodder daily.

The Full-Size Compact System has seven tiers of four channels and 336 linear feet of growing space and provides 250 pounds of fodder daily.

The smallest system, the Expanded Mini, has four tiers of six channels and 288 linear feet of growing space, providing up to 187 pounds of fodder daily.

The systems come ready to assemble with supply and drain manifold plumbing, seed spreaders and Easy Soak buckets for soaking, draining and distribution of fodder seeds.

Small-footprint fodder system
Fodder Solutions (Booth B10) products were introduced at the 2009 World Ag Expo . The hydroponic turn-key sprouting systems are patented and made in the U.S. Heating and cooling, watering and lighting are automated. Presoaking seeds is not required.

New for 2013 is the iGro system, with a footprint 56 inches wide, 32 inches deep and 79 inches tall. It produces about 50 pounds of fodder daily.

John Deere’s new 9 Series balers, 6 Series tractors

John Deere (Booths 8009, 8010, Deere, O53, RD2) is introducing 12 new models of its 9 Series round balers for 2013.

The heavier-duty large round balers, which include additional Class III and IV models, have larger cams and bearings in the pickup on premium models, stronger chains and other enhancements.

Also for 2013, the company is expanding its 6 Series tractor line with the introduction of 12 new models in the 105 to 170 engine horsepower range.

The new 6M Series tractors include six models (6105M, 6115M, 6125M, 6140M, 6150M and 6170M) from 105 to 170 engine horsepower, intended for customers looking for a mid-spec tractor with higher horsepower options.

They replace the standard 6030 and 7030 Series tractors. In addition, the 6D Series tractor lineup introduced in 2008 has been updated with four models (6105D, 6115D, 6130D and 6140D) ranging from 105 to 140 engine horsepower.

Finally, two mid-horsepower models (6140R and 6150R) will expand on the 6R Series tractors for the row-crop market, bringing the 6R line-up to a total of eight models in the 105 to 210 engine horsepower range. PD
