Stress and dehydration aid available from Aurora Balance Stress & Dehydration Aid is a nutritional and metabolic supplement formulated to balance systemic electrolytes needed to maintain hydration. It acts as a buffering agent to correct blood pH when stress occurs due to heat or handling.

The aid, produced by Aurora, is formulated using electrolytes and buffering agents and does not use sugar as filler.

Use the aid prior to a stressful heat or handling event.

The balancing and buffering effect will give your livestock increased water consumption, reduced body temperature in a high heat environment, reduced panting (thus reducing the pH of blood and maintaining a healthy and more responsive metabolic system), quicker rebound after stress in production and greater milk production when environmental conditions are less than optimal.

The product is available in 40-pound buckets with measuring scoop.

Innovacyn launches Super 7+ Navel Dip
Innovacyn Inc. has launched Super 7+ Navel Dip, an umbilical cord dry-out and protective solution for newborn animals. The iodine-free formula of alkaline-electrolyzed water speeds the drying process and protects the umbilical cord.

It comes in two sizes – gallon jug and pint trigger bottle – and can be applied to large animals using a dip cup or squeeze bottle. The liquid includes a brown dye to help identify treated animals.

Unlike tincture of iodine, the new product has negligible cytotoxicity, according to the company, and is non-flammable and non-corrosive. This advanced hypertonic solution can also be used directly on calves whose umbilical cords were torn at birth.

The product, which has an expected shelf life of 24 months, has no special handling requirements except for following precautions on the label and does not require hazardous shipping fees or material paperwork. PD
