10 years of recognition yields generations of sustainability

Progressive Dairy Editor Dave Natzke Published on 08 November 2021

Celebrating its 10-year anniversary, the U.S. Dairy Sustainability Awards program has recognized nearly 80 dairy farms, businesses and collaborative partnerships over the past decade.

Selected from more than 270 nominees over that period, the award recipients have been honored for demonstrating outstanding economic, environmental and social benefits; a longstanding commitment to continuous improvement; and a replicable model to inform and inspire others in advancing dairy sustainability leadership.

The 2021 Sustainability Award recipients will be honored during the Dairy Sustainability Alliance fall meeting in Las Vegas, Nov. 18-19. This year’s award winners were featured in the July 1, 2021 issue of Progressive Dairy and online here (Progressive Dairy digital edition 2021).

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the program, Progressive Dairy lists previous winners and checks in with how some of those award recipients’ sustainability efforts continue.
