Art’s Way Manufacturing has introduced the 6140 Grinder Mixer; the machine will be in the show lineup throughout the fall.

Hot off the production line, the new grinder mixer (equipped with a 140-bushel tank) provides the producer an excellent option for grinding feed rations. Not only does this model have an extra-large capacity tank, it also features 72 hardened, four-way reversible hammers for a high speed, consistent and uniform grind. The 20-inch hammer mill operates by using a 540-RPM PTO drive that’s powered by 50- to 120-horsepower tractors.

The self-contained hydraulics provides smooth operation and maximum power to the auger feeder and the unload auger. A large 36-gallon oil reservoir dissipates heat, decreasing fluid temperatures, which maximizes tractor horsepower.

The tractor hydraulics provides lift and swings the unloading auger into place for feed discharge. With a standing reach of 60 degrees and a minimum height of 16 feet, the unloading auger can easily fill storage bins.

Adding an ingredient by using the supplement hopper allows the producer to create a custom feed ration tailored to their livestock growth and nutrition needs.
